A blue monochromatic object with a presence sensor in its eye. When it detects people’s movement, it starts to produce the sound of a Tibetan religious chant. Arcanjo is an integral part of the series “Monochromatic Automatons” and exhibited together with Cramunhãozinho forms the diptych “The Arcanjo’s Fight with Cramunhãozinho”. During the fight, Arcanjo faces Cramunhãozinho, creating a dialogue where the sound produced by Arcanjo serves as the basis for Cramunhãozinho’s sound, creating a sound composition in the space.

It was exhibited in 2007 in the solo exhibition “Monochromatic Automatons” – A Gentil Carioca gallery – Rio de Janeiro.
