Book of Waters is an object that has an electronic memory, responsible for storing a bank of words, whose vocabulary revolves around the nature of the element water. This content is accessed as the book is handled, tilting its container sometimes to the right, sometimes to the left, in relation to the horizontal plane. Then the words randomly appear on its display, sentences gradually begin to form. A pre-programmed syntactic structure orders the meaning and sequence of a text without end or beginning. The water narrates its own destiny, in the first person. It was produced in partnership between artists Paulo Nenflidio and Antônio Ewbank.
This is a serial edition, copies of which were donated to the twelve hydromineral resort towns of the State of São Paulo. Livro das Águas was produced with the cultural support of Proac, the Secretariat of Culture of the Government of the State of São Paulo.
