This is a new model of the Electric Berimbau. It was built entirely with screwed PVC connections and can be disassembled into three parts, making it easier to transport. It has an internal electronic circuit that electronically simulates the muffling effect of the gourd. When the object is brought close to the body, a proximity sensor produces a wah-wah effect in the sound of the instrument.
It was exhibited in 2009 at the Liste fair in Basel in a solo exhibition by the artist at the A Gentil Carioca gallery stand.
