The Infinite Monochord n2 is a sound automaton. Through a feedback circuit, a string is made to vibrate infinitely, producing a constant, low sound. Constructed with PVC pipes and connections, string, pickups, bridge and tuning peg from a bass, two amplifiers and a fan coil.

Work produced during the artist’s artistic residency at the ASU Museum – Tempe, Arizona, USA, which resulted in the artist’s solo exhibition Gambiarras in 2009, curated by John Spiak.
