Two rectangular planes twisted at 45 degrees that intersect in space.
In Intersection n2, a sequence of stretched lines form two perfectly symmetrical planes that intersect in space, but without actually touching. The intersection occurs in our imagination. At the same time, despite being static, this is a kinetic work, as it encourages the audience to move in order to better understand the work. Seeing the work in motion creates drawings that are only revealed when walking through the work.
It was produced especially for the solo exhibition Universo Invisível (Invisible Universe) shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art in São Paulo in 2021.
