A sound object built inside an aluminum and wood box containing an electronic circuit, speakers, amplifiers, cables and a presence sensor
Private collection

Metacircuit n1 is an object that has a display where sentences scroll by. When writing these sentences, the circuit produces digital signals on several electrical pins. These various signals are amplified and the resulting sound is a polyphonic composition of noises. A presence sensor triggers the sound of the work when someone or something moves in front of the object. It is a metalinguistic work because the sentences generated by the object explain how its sound is generated. The phrases in the work were created in collaboration with the poet Marcelo Zoppi.

It participated in the Gambiarra Sonora exhibition – Hellerau – Dresden, Germany in 2016, curated by Chico Dub.
