Metacircuit n2 is an object that has a display through which scrolling phrases pass. When writing these phrases, the circuit produces digital signals on several electrical pins. These various signals are amplified and the resulting sound is a polyphonic composition of noises. A presence sensor triggers the sound of the work when someone or something moves in front of the object. It is a metalinguistic work because the phrases generated by the object explain how its sound is generated. It is a work that poetically describes its own electronic nature.
