Wooden construction and 10 FM radios with digital display
Private collection
An object with 10 arms with speakers. It has a keyboard with 10 keys that, when played, activate the sound of 10 radios independent of each other. The radios can be adjusted in tuning and volume. The sound generated comes out of the speakers installed at the end of the arms, creating a polyphony like a pipe organ. It is a keyboard instrument where the sound produced depends on the local radios. In this way, the object connects to the place through radio waves. It makes the invisible audible.
In 2006, it participated in the exhibition Geração da Virada – Instituto Tomie Ohtake – São Paulo, curated by Agnaldo Farias and Moacir dos Anjos.
