Scorpion is a sculpture built with PVC pipes in the shape of this arachnid very common in the Arizona desert region. It is a sound device similar to a keyboard. Twenty buttons activate different noises. In the production of this work, much of the noise is generated by electronic scraps such as radios, CD-ROMs, toys, motors, cell phones and pickups.

It was built during the artist’s residency at the ASU Museum – Tempe, Arizona, USA with the collaboration of the visiting public.
