In the watercolor painting series titled Tools to Build a Time Machine, the artist depicts the tools he uses daily in his studio. In the creative act, time stretches and warps — it is through this deep immersion that the artist travels in his own time machine. Paulo Nenflidio is an artist who carries out every stage of his creations: from drawing to finishing, from electronic research to the making of the circuit boards that control his works. Given the importance he places on the creative process, he felt the need to portray, with the same precision and affection, what is essential and irreplaceable in his practice: his tools.
