Whale is a sculpture with a shape similar to that of a whale, measuring 6.2 meters long. It is suspended by steel cables. Made entirely of brass with tin solder. The body is segmented into 8 parts. The segments are interconnected by joints that allow the sculpture to move freely horizontally/laterally. A light touch of the hand sets the entire sculpture in motion, as if it were gliding in the air.

It was built especially for the Art Basel fair and was exhibited in the Art Statements section in 2011 as a solo project by the gallery A Gentil Carioca.
